SMC Motor Group - Group Parts Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and ambitious Group Parts Manager at SMC Motor Group!

  • Location: SMC Motor Group (based at Aldershot) – Seat, Cupra, Renault and Dacia

  • Length: Full Time / Permanent
  • Salary: £52,000 OTE
  • Reporting to: Group Service Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and performance driven Group Parts Manager to lead our Parts departments across SMC Motor Group. SMC Motor Group operates across Surrey and Hampshire, in Woking, St Johns, Weybridge and Aldershot, with the Seat, Cupra, Renault and Dacia franchises, making this an exciting multi-brand aftersales opportunity.

The Group Parts Manager role involves leading and coordinating the Parts teams across the group, planning and managing parts mix and stock levels, and overseeing the day-to-day operations to achieve targets.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organisational and administrative skills to ensure the smooth running of the Parts departments and effective management of the teams.

Previous motor trade Parts management experience is preferrable.

SMC Woking - Parts Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and ambitious Parts Advisor at SMC Woking!

  • Reporting to: Group Parts Manager

We are looking for someone enthusiastic and motivated to join our Aftersales team as a Parts Advisor. The role involves working closely within the Aftersales team to ensure our customers receive excellent customer service throughout their aftersales journey, from booking in their vehicle to liaising with them until their vehicle is ready to collect. Our Parts Advisors understand our customers’ requirements and guide them towards the product that best suits their needs, providing quotes and availability of stock and accessories.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. Strong communication and organisational skills are needed in order to complete any relevant admin and claims processes.

SMC Woking Seat and Cupra also includes a Renault service centre, making it an exciting multi-brand aftersales opportunity. Previous motor trade experience is desired, as is a detailed knowledge of motor vehicles.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Workshop Controller at SMC Aldershot!

We are looking for someone enthusiastic and motivated to lead our multi-brand workshop team as a Workshop Controller. The role involves ensuring the smooth running of the multi-brand (Renault, Dacia, Seat) workshop, scheduling work to meet the customers’ needs, and meeting workshop targets.

The ideal candidate will be adaptable and innovative with their approach to working and have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to build rapport with customers, and when necessary, explain to customers the work required. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, experienced, and ready to make an impact from their first day!

Our Workshop Controllers work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm, and Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm on a rotational basis.

SMC Aldershot - Vehicle Technician

SMC Aldershot is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving to join our busy, multi-brand (Seat/Cupra and Renault/Dacia) workshop team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing motor vehicles in line with the manufacturer guidelines.

We take pride in helping our employees develop their knowledge and skills using the latest manufacturer-based training.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to be able to work as part of the team. Previous main dealer experience and MOT licence is preferred.

Our Vehicle Technicians work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm, and Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm on a rotational basis.

  • Provide support to apprentices, where appropriate.
  • Work as a full member of the dealership team.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent.

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

  • Preferably with Renault and or VAG Group training.
  • Knowledge of POWER system, ETKA, RenaulP@rts, Eparts systems.
  • Hours: Mon – Fri 08:00am – 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch and alternate Saturdays of 08:30am – 12:30pm
