SMC Renault in Weybridge are celebrating after being named as a 'Driver Power Dealer of Excellence'

by Groupe Renault UK – the UK operation of the French carmaker that encompasses the Renault and Dacia brands.

SMC Renault in Oatlands Drive, Weybridge is one of 16 nationwide dealerships to be awarded the prized accolade in the ‘Driver Power – Dealer of Excellence’ programme that is hosted by Groupe Renault UK and the UK’s biggest-selling motoring magazine, Auto Express.

The local dealership was nominated for the award in February after it performed strongly in Groupe Renault UK’s in-house Customer Satisfaction measures. Together with 22 other nominated dealerships, SMC Renault Weybridge was then subject to an in-depth independent customer care evaluation by Driver Power. Focusing on the results of an extensive customer satisfaction survey, the findings by Driver Power confirmed that the local dealership was delivering a level of service that verified it as a ‘Driver Power – Dealer of Excellence’.

James Kimber (Managing Director), Tim Golding (Group Service Director) and Mark Jones ( SMC Renault Weybridge Genral Manager) of SMC Motor Group were presented with the coveted award by Linda Blackwell, Renault UK Area Manager After Sales, at SMC Renault Weybridge in August.

Established earlier this year by Groupe Renault UK and Auto Express magazine, the Driver Power Dealer of Excellence programme is an accreditation programme that seeks to identify, recognise and reward automotive dealerships that provide excellent customer service. It is backed by the expertise of more than a decade of conducting the annual Driver Power Survey, the UK’s largest independent automotive satisfaction study.
