New Dacia Duster - Introducing a New range for Spring 2018

Rugged, robust, no-nonsense: these are words to describe New Dacia Duster. It’s a car to help you take on any challenge.

Practicality and functionality are at the heart of New Duster’s clever design. It can carry up to 5 people and has up to 475 litres* of boot space to house their luggage. With the back seats folded down, New Duster’s load capacity expands up to 1,636 litres*. Useful? Thought so.

The design turns heads but there’s function behind the form, too. All versions come with ABS and ESC (Electronic Stability Control) as standard. New Duster’s high ground clearance and wide approach and departure angles are designed to tackle difficult obstacles over tough terrain. Beneath the surface, a selectable 3-mode 4-wheel-drive system**, developed using Nissan’s expertise, also provides grip where you need it most, off the
beaten track or during hazardous road conditions.

Times have changed. Driving a 4x4 used to be the reserve of a privileged few. With New Dacia Duster, it’s a pleasure more of us can enjoy. Priced from just £9,495 on-the-road, New Duster offers supersize space for supermini prices. Its economical and ecological dCi 110 diesel engine achieves over 60.1mpg on the combined cycle and emits exceptionally low levels of CO2 for an SUV: just 115 g/km on 4x2 versions and 123 g/km on 4x4 versions.

Because everybody’s different, New Dacia Duster concentrates on the essentials rather than the unnecessary. With five simple trim levels, three engines and a range of accessories, it’s easy to choose the New Duster to suit you. Practicality and functionality are at the core of Duster’s clever design. With Dacia, affordable doesn’t have to mean unattractive. That’s why Dacia Duster is blessed with rugged good looks. Its muscular design, including extended wheel arches and a raised ride height, makes Duster every inch a robust and protective off-roader. Yet its imposing chrome front grille and double-optic headlamps are graceful around town. In top-of-the range Lauréate trim, standard 16" alloy wheels, satin chrome roof bars, side sills and front and rear scuff plates give Duster effortless SUV style.

Duster’s beauty is more than skin deep, though. From its intelligent 3-mode all-wheel drive system to its elegant chrome instrument surrounds, Duster combines brains with beauty. For ultimate luxury, Lauréate versions come equipped with piano black interior detailing, chrome air vent surrounds and air conditioning as standard. Those seeking an added personal touch may choose from the extensive range of accessories, including body protection mouldings, chrome styling kits and interior armrests. Dacia Duster, how would you like yours.

Clearance Angles

High-ground clearance and wide “approach” and “departure” angles, at the front and rear of the car, enable Duster to negotiate difficult obstacles over rugged ground. Its solid structure is built to withstand the toughest terrain, yet Duster’s light weight (less than 1,300kg) and compact size make it agile when conditions demand quick reactions.

Short First Gear Ratio

The manual 6-speed gearbox also plays its part, with a short first gear ratio helping to maintain traction over rough ground. This also helps to maintain grip when starting on a slope, negotiation steep descents or accelerating under load, such as when towing.

Automatic Gearbox

The multi-award-winning Dacia Duster is available with an automatic six-speed EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) transmission, whilst still maintaining its shocking affordability. The Duster EDC is the most affordable automatic crossover available in the UK.

Combining the comfort and smoothness of an automatic gearbox with fuel economy and low CO2 emissions that are similar to those of a manual gearbox, the EDC transmission is certain to attract even more customers to the rugged SUV.

Drivers who specify the advanced transmission can now enjoy a more relaxing, simpler and smoother drive, which is boosted with the EDC transmission featuring Hill Start Assist. When moving away on a slope, the EDC control unit holds the brakes for sufficient time to allow the driver to apply the throttle before the vehicle rolls back.

Available on the Nav+ 4x2 Duster variant, the automatic EDC gearbox is mated to the hugely-popular 1.5 dCi 110 turbodiesel engine. Perfectly complementing each other, the pairing returns fuel economy of 62.8mpg (NEDC combined) and CO2 emissions of 116g/km
