COVID 19 measures at SMC Motor Group branches...

We are pleased to tell you that all of the necessary dealership changes and employee training has now been completed.

In order to support social distancing however, it is imperative that we limit the number of customers and colleagues in our dealerships at any one time. As such, our service departments will operate strictly on an appointment only basis, please contact your dealership to make a booking.

We wanted to outline some of the changes that you will find in our branches when you visit us next and re-assure you that here at SMC Motor Group we are taking the health and safety of our staff and customers very seriously.

Our workshops open from Monday 18th May and our shworooms on Monday 1st June on an appointment only basis to ensure we do not have too many people in our branches at the same time.

Our service recptions will be observing the 2 metre social distancing will be observed and screens will be fitted to desks for the benefit of staff and customers. Hand washing and sanitising products are freely available across all of branches for your use and protection.

The changes we have made affect not only visits to an SMC branch, but also affect the, use of protective covers and the re-sanitising of your vehicle following a service or MOT.

Our staff have also been trained to observe social distancing for collection of your vehicle for service/repair and its subsequent return and the use of protective gloves and masks where appropriate.

We are pleased to say that customers can still purchase a new or used cars or vans from us. You can secure a guaranteed part-exchange valuation, apply for finance and reserve a car, all without leaving the comfort of your home!

Without doubt, this has been the most challenging period during the Group’s 36 years of being in business; we have had to adapt and reconfigure the way in which we operate to ensure your safety and we want to thank you for your understanding and continued support during this unsettling time.
